Overtime surged in sectors under the Digital Labor Card program from January to July 2025, according to statistics from the Ergani database of the Labor Ministry.
Overtime in sectors that have been included in the Digital Labor Card scheme appears to have increased by 80% in the first seven months of 2025, compared to the first seven months of 2024.
More than 3.5 million overtime hours have already been recorded in 2025, 1.5 million more hours than in January-July 2024. In July, recorded overtime hours increased by 76% from July 2024.
All sectors in which the Digital Labor Card is used have recorded an increase.
