Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis spoke by phone on Thursday with the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, stressing what he called the unacceptable violation of Qatar’s territorial sovereignty.

Mitsotakis underlined that dialogue remains the only path toward restoring stability and achieving lasting peace in the Middle East.

The call followed an Israeli strike earlier this week targeting Hamas leaders in Doha, Qatar’s capital, which killed at least six people and raised concerns across the region and beyond.
